High Atlas

Stretching 750 km from the Atlantic to the Algerian border. Contains Mount Toubkal (4,167 m), the highest peak in North Africa. Snow-capped in winter, with deep valleys, Berber villages, and world-class trekking. Includes the Toubkal National Park.

Barbary Macaques & Endangered Species

⛷️ Did you know? Morocco has ski resorts! Oukaimeden (High Atlas, 2,600 m) and Michlifen (Middle Atlas) offer winter skiing, often with snow from December to March. The Atlas Mountains also feature the highest mountain pass in North Africa: Tizi n'Tichka (2,260 m), connecting Marrakech to the Sahara.
