The Middle Atlas cedar forests are home to the Barbary macaque (the only wild primate in Africa north of the Sahara). The High Atlas shelters the endangered Northern Bald Ibis and elusive leopards.
High Atlas Valleys
Valleys like Ourika, Ouirgane, Ait Bouguemez (Happy Valley) showcase traditional adobe architecture, terraced agriculture, and ancient Amazigh culture. Homestays offer authentic experiences.
